Liverpool Book Club

The Liverpool Book Club is a series of one-off special events with authors in landmark central Liverpool venues.

I was inspired to start The Liverpool Book Club by the fantastic response to the Smithdown Litfest, which I established in 2017. The Liverpool Book Club gives us the opportunity to invite even more authors to speak to audiences throughout the city, while the Smithdown Litfest can continue to focus on events in its special part of south Liverpool.

Liverpool Book Club events have covered topics as varied as crime, horror, international spies, civil war and showbusiness.

The Liverpool Book Club is now part of the Smithdown Litfest – Liverpool’s Year Round Literary Festival.
