I enjoyed interviewing musician and author R Peter Davies, who was a lunchtime guest at Liverpool’s Athenaeum.

R Peter was one of the original subjects of the ground-breaking Granada TV “UP” documentaries by Michael Apted, beginning with “7-UP”. He spoke about his new novel “Valediction Records”, his interesting and varied careers as an award-winning musician, a teacher and a Crown Prosecutor, and of course, about his experiences of being part of the famous series of documentaries.
