Doddy Day at the Royal Court

I was very lucky to have the opportunity to be part of The Doddy Day Happiness Show at Liverpool’s Royal Court this year. The special day celebrates the legacy of the late, great Sir Ken Dodd, with an afternoon of music and comedy.

I interviewed producer/author Tony Nicholson and Lady Anne Dodd about the never-before-seen footage of Sir Ken live on stage. These “lost tapes” form part of a special upcoming television documentary, and the DVD had its world premiere at the theatre he so loved and helped to save.

It was great fun to see behind the scenes at a theatre show, and to be on a theatre stage – a first for me. A lovely afternoon of great entertainment and of course, lots of happiness!
