Sue Cook at The Athenaeum

It was a real pleasure to welcome legendary broadcaster Sue Cook to Liverpool, and to interview her in the beautiful Library Reading Room of the Athenaeum. Sue was the guest of honour for the Presidential Dinner at the club.

We talked about Sue’s impressive career, from her early days working for Readers’ Digest to her fascinating experiences on commercial radio and BBC radio and television over many years. We also discussed the state of modern day media. It was an enjoyable and insightful evening, greatly enjoyed by all.
