The Hardacres season 2

I’m delighted that a second season of The Hardacres has been announced. The period drama, produced by Playground Entertaintment, is inspired by C L Skelton’s Hardacre, which is published by my imprint Wyndham Books.

Hardacre has been a number 1 bestseller in the Amazon Family Saga Kindle charts in the UK, USA and Australia, and a Top 15 bestseller across all Amazon Kindle titles in the UK and USA. The Hardacres has been broadcast in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and throughout Europe.

I rediscovered Hardacre some years ago, and republished it after many decades out of print. It is wonderful to see C L Skelton’s legacy entertaining a whole new legion of fans in another medium. Inevitably there are differences between a book and its television adaptation, but I think both novel and TV series can be enjoyed on their own merits. I’m looking forward to watching season 2.
